    This one's pretty too:

    Lord Of The Dance

lol, I had to laugh at one of the comments posted on that clip,

"the irish...the only civilization who'll beat the crap out of you...
then sing about it and do a tap-dance.
even the vikings didn't manage that...

I like celtic folk music, and I listen to it a lot as sort of a background / soundscape / ambience thing.

But I happen to REALLY like Flogging Molly and Dropkick Murphys, which are 2 rockbands that use Irish type music as a base for their songs.

Sorry boys and girls I was so tired that I fell asleep but this music was reverberating through my body the whole night lol.

Mis that was spectacular, I was hoping to find one with the flute intro but was too tired to look :)

Sad Emo that video reminds me me of my own early childhood. I better don't say anything further lol

Richie I never heard of them but now that you mentioned I'll definitely go to look

Oh yes, we are lovers of everything Irish! Our home is filled with pictures of castles and books on the history of Ireland. We belong to the celtic society here in our area and have attended many musicals and house concerts. We listen to Chularu and Old Blind Dogs and Burach and Molly's Revenge and Altan and Clannad and Dervish. We saw Gerry O'Burn in person with his 12 string guitar. I am of Irish ancestry and the husband is of Scottish. Our local Scottish Highland Games is next month and we look forward to attending. My husband wears his sport kilt hat and pony tail every day to work and it is admired by many.
Oh yes, we are lovers of the emerald isle and hope to visit it one day!

I won a contest in Santa Cruz way back in the early 80s for my Irish ballad singing. I was a single JW then and knew a JW boy who played guitar real well. We collaborated for the contest and won hands down! That was fun! My Irish heritage was a source of pride for my family but mostly denied to me as a JW.

I may be moving soon and I was going through my belongings and came across my grandmothers Irish dishes from Ireland. My prize possessions! No, I am not letting them go just yet. When you move you have to make decisions about what is important to keep and what you should get rid of. These dishes evoke such fantasies of Irish life and good times.....dreams of mine.
