There is an exsister in town, remarried, with three children from her previous marriage to an elder in this hall. For some reason he believes he can win in a case around the children attending all of the meetings, service, etc. along with not allowing the children to participate in holidays. At this time, they have joint custody, and, I would imagine any time that is taken away from the mother with the children would have to be made up, meaning, in a weeks time she would be getting practically another day per week. The girl with all the inside information is trying to log on here and having problems, so I thought I would just start it up for her. Any ideas or links?
Any news on legal custody issues?

Could you clarify the issues and use paragraphs. I'm not sure I follow what you're trying to ask/tell. I guess you must have been in a hurry.
There is a link to lawyers specializing in custody battles against JWs at silentlambs.org and it is not just for sex abuse victims; the link says they specialize in JW custody battles, period. I'll try to find it for you.
I thought I had saved the link. I don't see it anymore at silent lambs, although there is an ad/link for a lawyer there who handles unusual/difficult cases:

There are some useful guidelines here, from Randy Watters' site:

Ah, finally, here is the link I've been looking for (at Randy's site):

Thank you very much Madame Quixote! I am doing this a little long-distance, but we appreciate it. Hopefully she will come on board soon and supply some details.

Thank you, Numinous. You helped me find an important link I thought I had bookmarked; we have a new computer, so it was lost in the switchover. Good luck!
Also, anyone interested, can make comments about the issue of child custody struggles among ex-jws here:
