The mission of The Foundation for a Better Life, through various media efforts, is to encourage adherence to a set of quality values through personal accountability and by raising the level of expectations of performance of all individuals regardless of religion or race. Through these efforts, the Foundation wants to remind individuals they are accountable and empowered with the ability to take responsibility for their lives and to promote a set of values that sees them through their failures and capitalizes on their successes. An individual who takes responsibility for his or her actions will take care of his or her family, job, community, and country.
Q:What is The Foundation for a Better Life?
A: The Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, started in 2000. We are privately funded and non-commercial. Our sole objective is to promote positive values, using print and broadcast media.
Q:Why are you doing this?
A: We want the stories we share about the actions of others to inspire someone to do one thing a little better, and then pass on that inspiration. While a few individuals living values-based lives seems small, collectively they will make the world a better place.
Q: Where do you get your funding?
A:The Foundation for a Better Life is privately funded by a family that prefers to remain anonymous. There is no other funding source and we do not accept monetary donations.
Q:Are you affiliated with any religion?
A: The Foundation for a Better Life is not affiliated with any religion. We hope the values we share transcend any particular religion or nationality.
Q:Are you affiliated with any other organizations?
A: We have a sister foundation, The Random Acts of Kindness Foundation. It is also privately funded by the same source. The Random Acts of Kindness Foundation is the only organization with which we are affiliated.
Q:Can I join The Foundation for a Better Life?
A: The Foundation is not a membership organization, and we do not sponsor or endorse any groups or clubs. The best way to “join” is to incorporate the values in your own life, setting a good example that you can pass on to others.
Q:Can I give The Foundation for a Better Life money?
A: We do not solicit nor accept any money. However, much of our media space has been donated. If you are affiliated with a television station, theatre exhibitor or outdoor advertising company and are interested in receiving information about participating in an upcoming public service campaign, please email us.
Q:Can The Foundation for a Better Life give me money?
A: The Foundation does not give grants or any other aid. We feel we can do the most good by exposing individuals to positive values and encouraging them to take responsibility for living by those values.
Q: Do you sell posters of your billboards or copies of your public service announcements?
A: Because we are non-profit and non-commercial, we do not co-brand, sell, or otherwise use any portion of our site for profit. Visitors to our website are welcome to print copies of the billboards for their private use. All of our public service announcements may be viewed online. Schools may request posters of billboards in our current inventory by emailing us. Each request will be considered separately.
If these folks don't accept money, why does the organization that claims to be backed by Almighty God beg for it?
