Please take a moment and pause to remember those many troops that paid the ultimate sacrifice of the beaches of Normandy 63 years ago today. Never forget what they were fighting against, and how their sacrifice saved the world from Hitler and the Nazis.

Now that's something worthy, to remember. I think we honor them, by thinking how terrible war is, and advocating peace, by not blindly following leaders, no matter who, and that war should always be a last resort.

We should remember them by, holding leaders accountable to tell the truth, and if they use lies to mobilize armies for aggression, we should give them a fair trial and meet out appropiate punishment, for thier abuse of power. If we don't then they died in vain if we continue to let the rhetoric of leaders preach our young men into the battlefield, to serve the causes of the super rich, and imperialistic leaders.

I watched it on the History most of the afternoon.I felt proud of all our guys and gals and also to know my Dad was in that war, however, he was in Guadacanal, which was also a real hotbed.
