I read here that JWs were told in the KM that they shouldn't wear jeans, t-shirts or shorts out after the convention or even in the loby of their hotel. Is that right? Well, I am just curious to see what everyone else who still goes to meetings observed. If you wore jeans, t-shirts or shorts, did someone say anything to you about it? Wow, I just think the whole thing is absurd. Please tell me your experiences if you have gone to the convention yet.
Has anyone gone to the convention yet?

Today, I was at the morning session with my wife. She's there right now for the afternoon,, I'm at home doing paperwork and then meeting a client in about 30 minutes.
I'll let you know if I see the dubs with their 'uniform' on and wearing their badge during the evening hours.

Welcome to the board ocean! These rules really are silly aren't they?

Paralipomenon
They also tell everyone not to save seats and to take notes.
Some ideas are just lost causes. -

Just came back from some late evening shopping at Walmart and I saw a family of dubs, dressed in their convention clothes w/ badges. I kept my distance as I'm sure the smell of
wearing those clothes in excess of 12 hours(on a warm SoCal day), would not be pleasant.

Lol highlander
That's too bad for them. Dumb rule.
But Paralipomenon is right about not everyone actually listening to things they say anyway.
