Often I receive emails from people I know and they say to PLEASE FORWARD THIS WARNING AMONG FRIENDS, FAMILY AND CONTACTS:

Then I read the warning, and I say to myself, maybe it's only a joke or maybe someone is trying to collect email addresses, so each time you forward, the list gets longer and someone might have many email addresses to send junk to afterwards.

I think that everyone should know that you shouldn't open an attachement from someone you don't know.

Anyways here is the warning I received.....so yes I did forward it, but not through emails....

Better safe than sorry. Read the following.

      READ IMMEDIATELY PLS
Get this sent around to your contacts ASAP...we don't need this spreading around.

PLEASE FORWARD THIS WARNING AMONG FRIENDS, FAMILY AND CONTACTS:

You should be alert during the next days:

Do not open any message with an attached file called "Invitation" regardless of who sent it, It is a virus that opens an Olympic Torch
which "burns" the whole hard disc C of your computer.

This virus will be received from someone who has your e-mail address in his/her contact list, that is why you should send this e-mail to
all your contacts. It is better to receive this message 25 times than to receive the virus and open it.

If you receive a mail called "invitation" , though sent by a friend, do not open it and shut down your computer immediately. This is the
worst virus announced by CNN, it has been classified by Microsoft as the most
      destructive virus ever.

This virus was discovered by McAfee yesterday, and there is no repair yet for this kind of virus. This virus simply destroys the Zero
Sector of the Hard Disc, where the vital information is kept
SEND THIS E-MAIL TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW ,

COPY THIS E-MAIL AND SEND! IT TO YOUR FRIENDS

AND REMEMBER: IF YOU SEND IT TO THEM, YOU WILL BENEFIT ALL OF US

I forward absolutely NOTHING. I still get "Witness" emails that circulate among family and a couple of friends who still have me on their list. Unless I know the source, I won't even open an email just to see what it is about.

I always check them out on snopes.com - and they always turn out to be hoaxes. So I send the link about the hoax back to the person who sent me the warning. Hoping to cut down on spam by letting folks know they shouldn't believe everything they read.

No, not really. In fact I didn't even read the one you posted ;p
I think I did one time only, and it was a warning for that hand sanitizer- poisoning kids when they lick their fingers. I sent it to my friend because she uses that on her kids constantly and I got a little worried.
