Well, I working on a video about people who left the witnesses and why they left. Since I'm going to be in it and be filming it, they (the local elders) will go after me so I will have my DA letter ready.
The film won't be finished until early next year maybe sooner. So far we interviewed three people and will be interviewing several more before we hit the edit room. It is a student film for a university in New York and we were given 2 grants to work on it. I'll let everyone know more about it later.

I'm always prepared for every contingency. My "plan" is waiting for the most effective and efficacious time to implement it.
I'm not going to mail letters to the elders or my "friends" nor talk to them about "the truth" on the phone, letter or in person. I have done what I need to do in that area. But I might place
The biggest ad I can afford and keep it simple.
I will not "meet with the elders." All correspondence from their end will be Refused as re the postal regulations. No phone calls and any "chance" encounters will give me an opportunity to show them my back if they get abusive and/or offensive.
I'm not leaving them or God. They have to face the consequences of their own actions, they have a choice too.

Mine went in in November 2005. I know I was kind of playing things their way, but da'ing served to keep the elders away from me, so it was worth the compromise as far as I'm concerned.

The day they try to make me Witless #7,000,000 or pull some crap trying to force me to sacrifice for their short-term gain is the day I officially disassociate (and that's if they don't do it for the Christmas tree I am going to have this year). Of course, if they disfellowship me behind my back, that's their loss--and it will be a long term loss.
