Life Sure Is Great!

  Nothing spectacular going on, just hanging out with my siblings and neice....talking, watching t.v., and reminiscing about when we were little. Just taking in this moment and enjoying it for all it's worth with the people I love most in the world.

  I've learned recently that there's nothing better than living in the present. My former JW mindset was all about..."don't enjoy so much of this now, you'll get 100x more in the new system." I'm so glad I don't think and live that way anymore. I've missed out on much time with my family in the past because of putting the organization first. Changing this thinking has been one of the best things to happen in my life.

  Thank you! I'm glad I can do that for someone.

  I'm starting to get a glimpse of what many of you have said...that the new found freedom is one of the greatest experiences ever. Despite all that i've been through lately, im very happy. I can only imagine what it will be like when I get 100% free!

  Those two ingredients are very important, having a good social life with the right people and having a strong mental presence in the here and now rather than live dreamily in future events that may well prove utopic. Living in the present means investing in the present which is indispensible for success otherwise everything will appear like fleeting shadows.
