I really enjoyed the 80's Modern Rock/New Wave/Alternative music topic so why not have a topic for all 80's music? Pop, country, R&B, Rap, Metal, whatever you love and can think of.

    Cool, I'll go first

Julie Fordham - Happy Ever After http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f9qGur8eTUg

Robbie Robertson - Somewhere by the Crazy River http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zVAwIJE-_84

Cockrobin - Just Around the Corner http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=de7q3vJZYGw

My favorite band from the 80s...The Cult

I got to see them in concert. I forgot to mention them in the concert thread, but I did have a couple of JWs question my attending that concert. Ironic that cult members were upset about someone seeing a band called The Cult, huh?

Ah yes, the 80's. Back when MTV used to actually show videos. The very first video I ever watched was "You Might Think" by The Cars. That was also the very first album I ever bought. How did Ric Ocasek end up with Paulina Porizkova?

Oooh Undercover, The Cult is one of my favorite bands from the 80s!

Ironic that cult members were upset about someone seeing a band called The Cult, huh?

You know what I find ironic? That on one of The Cult's album covers, there is a drawing of the winged sun disk! Ha!

    Other favorite 80s music:

The Cure, Siouxie and the Banshees, The Sugarcubes, Icicle Works, New Order, Sisters of Mercy, R.E.M (Murmer is my absolute favorite album of all time), Tears for Fears, Edie Brickell and the New Bohemiens, The Fine Young Cannibals, Inxs, The Bangles, so much more that I can't think of right now!
