So, after the stadium was used for the cricket tournament in March, it fell apart that badly?

The JW's switched from their traditional 3 assembly sites to this forsaken place? Sight unseen?

I'll bet they changed to this location because they thought they'd save money. Now they have to burn $1 million just to get this cricket stadium ready!

HA. Serves them right. Apparently they didn't "count the cost" like they always preach to their own followers.

I doubt that they spent a million dollars- they had volunteers doing the work.

Moshe, you obviously haven't factored in the cost of the Kool-Aid they have to bring in for all those thirsty workers.

This is about the only good those JW's have done for their local community.

but of course the society is too cheap to pay for professional cleanup - instead making 2000 Witnesses feel guilty if they didn't go in and help swing machetes for free. the amount of free labor they get in the name of 'supporting the org' has always ticked me off... and of course those same Witnesses will be asked to make donations during the convention they attend

Morph - 'you want my arm and leg too?'

Jamacia is a good investment for the WBT$..Think of all the JW`s that will go Jamacia for an assembly..When I was there many years ago,JW resorts were being built..We had to stay in a Hotel at the time because the JW resort we were going to had not been completed.....1million dollars to re and re the stadium is a pitance for what the WBT$ will rake in off this venture..1 million dollars and free JW Jamacain labour will go a long way...OUTLAW
