I know several dubs who are contractors doing various jobs.
What irritates me is I think half of these contractors stay dubs for the sole reason that they get tons of work
from the 'friends'. Plus if your an elder or have some other BS title, the 'friends' will actually be happy to pay a little
extra because they know they are helping (brown nosing) an elder.
That just pisses me off.
How many dubs do you know who stay dubs just to network jobs for themselves?

Miserable life if you want out! I rather suspect they are there simply because they want to be. They don't know any different and it puts bread on the table, survival and they get to feel good too knowing the "friends" depend on them.
I was a generalbuilding contractor in Clearlake, Ca.
I was an elder and I got 1 job from 1 older sister she was such a pain in the ass
I refused work from any witness after that.
Matter of fact I refused to do any work on any Kingdom hall.
Matter of fact I only work on 1 quick build and sand got P O when some young squirt told me how to do something and I walked off and never participated in another.
I found out the witnesses wanted more for less and held you to perfection.
who cares. People have to eat.
People at my Church are self employed and network for jobs which doesn't upset me in the least.
