This bear further ponders, If "should" is at best mythic and at worst delusional, what do we use to form goals for ourselves and expectations of our surroundings?

Could you restate the question in other words? and maybe give an example?
We discussed yesterday whether "should" existed or could exist. We came to a basic conclusion that "should" does not exist and that believing that it exists can possibly be detrimental to ones life and health.
So. If there is no "should" or if we should avoid "should" as a measure of reality, then, in its absence, how do we establish that we can be better or that we can expect our surrounding environment to be better?
