Hi, Ashley. Welcome to this forum. It is rare to have the kind of post you just put up there. As for being happy, I agree with Matt: it's up to you. I'm usually happier in California (I live near CA in NV) than in Kentucky (where I was born and lived at times), so you're off to a good start.
