Suppose you were injured and needed to go the hospital. Suppose you found out the hospital does almost nothing but amputations.......
Welcome to Jehovah's Witnesses
You see, that's the way the organization deals with spiritual sickness - a simple choice to amputate the person from the body of the congregation (disfellowshipping) or not. It's simple and stupid - often matching the abilities of the elders administering "justice". Sure, they may offer some counsel at times but basically if people persist in being spiritually weak (by their definition) and 'cross the line' (like expressing doubt, Mr. Bad willie!) it's time to chop away!
Right on, Metatron! What a heartless way to treat people, and especially when they claim to be more LOVING than anyone else! [8>]
I don't blame the elders themselves. They're stuck in the system. If they don't do it the Borg's way, they themselves become the next target! I blame the "administrators" of this sick hospital, the ones running the show, who could change this heartless policy and have had several decades to do so but refuse, (goes without saying---the Governing Body).
