i need some clarification

and i didn't want to hi-jack another thread. what i need to know, is, do the anderson c.d.'s prove the governing body, or anyone high ranking at bethel, knew about and helped cover up the abuse? i just want to make sure.

Documents show that at the highest levels the Watchtower Society had direct knowledge of a sexual predator that it over and over again appointed to the position of elder. This despite the man having 1) sodomizing an unconscious individual, 2) doing “perverted things with two young men” 3) reportedly molested a young boy at his place of employment and 4) other sexual crimes. For thirty years the Watchtower had knowledge of this sexual predator, and for thirty years it kept on reappointing him as an elder in one congregation after another. At one point this pervert was actually appointed as a City Overseer!

This is only to recount the history of one predator the Watchtower Society left unleashed amidst Jehovah’s Witnesses, not to mention the general population.

thanks marvin, that's what i needed. btw, i understand your looking for volunteers. i want to help in any way i can. i have personally been afected by this. i wasn't abused, but, a loved one was. i am so fired up about this. i just didn't want to say things that weren't true. is it just this one elder that is in this? i know many others have been protected, i am just hoping all the guilty are exposed.

I provided a single example of what you will find in the documents. There are other perpetrators also named in the documents. More critically, among the documents are internal forms and documents stamped “CONFIDENTIAL” that tell how inept is the Watchtower Society, and how it was willing to put its own image ahead of the protection of children.

It is amazing how “the anointed of Jehovah” had to wait for Jehovah to explain that a sodomizing child molesting sex pervert represents a danger to children! I guess Jehovah finally pulled out his crayon to spell the danger out in letters the Watchtower Society could understand. The symbol he wrote looked a lot like an upper case S with two vertical bars slicing through it.

I have written several times to my local newspaper about the WT coverup of JW pedophiles with no results. I am hopeful that I finally have the "Big Gun" I need in this CD to get their attention once and for all. My hope is that newspapers across the county begin to give this story the same attention that they have to Catholic Church and it's problem priests.

I haven't read these documents. I have seen several letters on pedophiles in my time as an elder. It is AMAZING (in a sad way) how the first priority is too make sure that everything is handled as silently as possible, making sure that as few people as possible are apprised of the situation.

Of course, we had clues. Remember two men? Ewart Chitty and Leo Greenlees? Both these men were on the governing body and were homosexuals the entire time they were at bethel. When found out, whatever "discipline" they got did NOT include disfellowshipping. In both cases, they were shipped (silently) out of Brooklyn. Greenlees was actually made a Special Pioneer on the infrimed list. Both of the physical needs and expenses of these hypocrites were met till there deaths in the 1980's.

I was taught as an elder that elders, ministerial servants and pioneers were more "culpable" and if they had committed "sins" worthy of disfellowshipping, they were to be generally treated a little more tough. Not that it happens all the time, but that is the way it is supposed to be in JW Land.

Ironic isn't it that Ray Franz got disfellowshipped for disagreeing with the borg while being an upstanding, moral and decent man while two other predatory GB members were conveniently swept under the rug? Why? "Theocratic Warfare!" Lloyd Barry was fond of saying that in a war, you use whatever means necesarry, and these morons on the GB really believe that. They will lie, thinking that "Jehovah" approves of their bull.

Thus, the whole reason why these guys hide pedophiles is that they believe that Satan is causing this to distract from the preaching work. BULL!!! They are concerned about their money. They may say it is to protect their ability to preach, but their "ability to preach" is directly related to the money in the bank.

Don't forget that the Legal Dept comes under the thumb of the Chairmans committee. They get reports every day. AND the Governing Body HAD to sign off on those settlements. It is in their charter that "the ecclesiastical governing body of Jehovah's Witnesses" runs all the coporations.

Their delusions of what the bible commands as far as preaching harm no one unless it involves blood and pedophiles. (thats all....) I think it is pretty clear now that they do harm people, they have for a long time, and they really don't give a damn.
