  Missile dumped at US gun amnesty

  A man in Florida surprised police by handing in a surface-to-air missile launcher during a gun amnesty in the city of Orlando.

  Under the no-questions-asked scheme, "Kicks for Guns", anyone who surrendered a firearm would receive trainers or $50 (£25).

  The Orlando Sentinel newspaper said the man exchanged the rocket launcher for designer footwear for his daughter.

  He told the newspaper he found the 4ft (1.2m) weapon in a shed last week.

  The unidentified man said he had tried in vain to get rid of the launcher, which is designed to blow aircraft out of the sky.

  "I took it to three dumps to try to get rid of it and they told me to get lost."

  "I didn't know what to do with it, so I brought it here," he told the newspaper.

  Besides the missile launcher, Orlando Police collected more than 310 guns during the amnesty.

  After inspecting the rocket launcher, police spokeswoman Sgt Barbara Jones said: "I tell you, you never know what you're going to get."

  If you no why the fuel pump in your car which is in the tank keeps from blowing your car up. You know why the official cause of Flight 800's explosion is Bull#@$% !

  well this all falls into the omigod category - he "found" a missile launcher? He turned it in, thank goodness, for a pair of designer shoes for his kid? Smart thinking. Hooowheee, there's a lot of dangerous stuff out there.

  I am not worried about the "stuff" it's the type of person who has it and what they do with it. Someone yakking on thier cell phone as they blow a stop sign is far more dangerous then some guy that finds a rocket launcher and turns it in.

  I saw that on the Central Florida news. That launcher thang looked pretty beat up. Still, amazing nonetheless.
  
  As for those people turning in their guns for shoes, it's just another slick way the Corporate-Police State is "disarming the population." Dangle the carrot and the suckers eat it up...
  
  Keep your guns for self-defense... you're going to need them when all "H" breaks loose...

  A quick google turned up this Ottawa defintion for their "Gun Amnesty" Program and I'm "guessing" the AGENDA is the same in most "already agreeable to the New World Order" countries, such as the UK, CA, USA, et al. Notice they "FOCUSED" on "LAW-ABIDING citizens"...
