Betty Boop, any Watchtower prohibitions?

Most members of this forum are familiar with the cartoon character Betty Boop. She began in the early 1930's, with a very short dress, a garter, and visible cleavage. Her adventures often dealt directly with her sexuality. Sometimes other characters would attempt to peek while she changed clothes, or her very anatomically correct shilouette would be seen while she passed in front of a light source. In one cartoon, she danced wearing only a grass skirt and a lei, which barely covered her nipples. Sometimes characters would pressure her to have sex with them, in another cartoon a character whispered in her ear what he wanted, while his hand stroked her thigh. She refused and said "you can't have my Boop-oop-a-doop". Betty was never promiscuous, but always provocative. Around 1934, pressure from the Hayes office (which wrote the movie ratings code), led to a longer skirt, no more visible cleavage, and less provocative innuendo. The series ended in 1939. I'm curious if Watchtower magazines of the era mentioned her by name, or cartoons and movies in general as bad entertainment.

Don't think so. But I do know a regular pioneer who is obsessed with her. She has Betty Boop evrerything.

I remember doing street work with another JW many years ago. Some street-type character came up to us and I saw he had a Betty Boop pin where she is naked and crouching pinned to his raggedy jacket. I tried hard not to stare at it.
