Terminal cancer sufferer Jane Tomlinson has died aged 43, following a seven-year battle with the disease.
The married mother-of-three, who was made CBE for charitable services in June, had raised £1.75m in a series of gruelling challenges.
She died at St Gemma's Hospice in Leeds at 2100 BST on Monday.
Her husband Mike and children Suzanne, Rebecca and Steven said they were heartbroken but "honoured to have been blessed with such a wonderful person".

This page lists her achievements, the last of which was a gruelling cycle ride from coast to coast accross the US last year:

Jane really was an inspiration to us all to keep fighting even against all the odds.

    may she rest in peace

Her hubby and kids are lovely people too. In some ways the whole family became part of every Yorkshire family because the regional media gave her loads of publicity.

The annoying thing was that there were people who actually disputed her illness! They said she couldn't possibly do the things she did if she really had cancer - as if cancer sufferers are supposed to lie in bed all day to 'fit the part'! They ignored the fact that often during the time she wasn't fundraising, she was having chemo to help keep her going. No way was she going to sit back and bemoan her illness like they expected. I pray not, but maybe one day these people will understand the hard way...
