Has anyone seen the movie: "Invasion" yet??

  Hello all..

  Remember the old movie "Invasion of the Body Snatchers"...haven't seen it in years, and if I understand it correctly, the new movie "Invasion" is a modern remake of the film. I was wondering if any of you had seen it yet and what you thought of it. As I think about it, it kinda reminds me of the Borg! They snatch your brain and use your body for their own benefit. To disguse yourself from being caught, you have to be brainless and emotionless..or they will catch on you are not one one them, and they will come after you to try and suck your brain out!! Wow! I wonder how much this movie will parallel the Borg..??

  Lady, it did awful at the box office. I heard that it was a stiff. i did not go because the review were thumbs dowm

  Dear Blueblades,

  I had heard that too. Sometimes good movies get overlooked because too much weight is put in the critics opinion. Unless I get good reviews here I will probably wait till it comes out on DVD. Thanks for your reply. ANYONE ELSE??

  I saw it. Was not impressed. I love Nicole Kidman, and that's why I wanted to see it. But, the original and the remake of the original with Donald Sutherland are much better. This is the weakest rendition of the 1956 Sci-Fi/Horror classic The Invasion Of The Body Snatchers, but it manages to bring some new elements to the film to separate itself from the previous remakes. I wish I'd waited for the DVD.

  Being a horror and sci-fi fan, I'm probably jaded, though.
