Has there been a crack down on group WT pre study. We had a regular group every Sunday night for any or all teens back in the day - 60's. Then raising children we had friends or other families on and off, get together for a group pre-study. Is that discouraged or not allowed these days?
What is the current position on WT study as a group?

The next version of the NWT puts the passage s uccinctly , "where two or three are gathered, apostacy is in the air."

Does Bethel still study for the WT together? If so, how could they
blast congregations for imitating them? -

With 1 monitor per two people, very few nefarious things are said. With the Bethel spies, rats, and those in fear of what happened to Ray Franz and his cohorts, little deviates from the exact words on the WT pages. Bethel makes Communism look like a holiday!

Regarding the Sept. KM QB it may not be a problem as long as the publications are printed by WT. And remember, just cause they don't "endorese" groups studying, does not mean that they are saying you "can't" do it.

Lawrence, I know, I know. They don't really analyze the WT. Supposedly, they do
their "family" study in preparation for the weekly congregation meetings. In reality,
the WTS tells those Bethelites what they should say to the rest of the members. My point is that they can't really discourage JW groups from gathering to prepare
for a meeting by studying their literature together. That would be hypocritical.
(I know saying that WTS would be hypocritical is redundant.)I just point things out for argument's sake.
