Elders manuals by request! Request from researcher: Atlantis could you post the links to the elders manuals again because, the links to the previous post on this subject are no longer active? My reply: No problem! This will not be the last time such a request is made. The 'elders manuals' will be a repeat request again and again. The 'Internet' has aided tremendously in revealing to Jehovah's Witnesses that their so-called, 'God's Channel Organization' has not been as honest with them as they have previously believed! The 'elders manuals' which have been kept from the eyes of 'rank and file' JW's have proved to be quite a 'shocking' resource to read! These manuals have helped many JW's to 'leave' the Watchtower for the simple reason that, many JW's do not appreciate the fact that 'secret' books are floating around the organization. This makes some JW's feel inferior and not deserving of information only elders are privileged to read. Not to mention, other revealing facts that have surfaced. This is one of the main reasons that the 'books' you see being posted on JWD are being posted. Well I don't plan on reading any of them . Many people collect them or the pdfs of them to use as ammunition for those who deny the real truth of what the WTS really said. The WTS has this really bad habit of revisionist history. Once they doctor a book/magazine they can fool people into believing and taking the fall for the WTS' mistakes.

What JW's see on their Watchtower Library CD's may not necessarily be what was printed in an original book, magazine, or booklet! This book has proven to be extremely valuable in exposing the morally questionable activities of the Watchtower Society.
Now we have a NEW version that is even more valuable because it contains the hand-written notes of a Presiding Overseer, some notes as recent as late 2005. These notes are frequently dictated to elders by a Circuit Overseer or District Overseer in order to avoid liability (the WTS can deny every giving such instructions).
An excellent example of what these notes contain is on page 74 where the elders are given instructions to DESTROY THE RECORDS OF CHILD MOLESTERS SO THE CHILD MOLESTERS CAN BECOME ELDERS AGAIN.
There are several other similar notes where the elders are instructed to call the Watchtower Legal Department if they hear of any allegations of abuse. Stop and think about this for a minute... if you heard an allegation of a child being raped, would you call the police or your lawyer? I suspect 99.999% of the population would immediately call the police, but not Jehovahs Witnesses! NO! They call their LAWYER!
