Blood...

Just had to share...I donated blood for the first time this weekend. It was easy, painless, and I felt really good afterward. Knowing I may have helped save somebody's life is a good feeling!
Oh, what would my JW relatives think of me now!

I know the feeling. On Sepember 12, the day after the terrorist attacks, I donated blood at the local Red Cross. It does feel good doesn't it, to know that you are helping somebody who is in need. On top of donated blood for the life of somebody else, I was doing it out of patriotism. If my family only knew.....
