Sorry about this Thread appearing twice. The system locked up when I tried to create the Thread, so I hit the "send" a second time. Once more I got no response, so I thought I would have another try a few hours later.
When I looked later, there it was - twice! I don't know where the gremlin was, it's a long way between here (Melbourne) and there.
I hope that the release of this information will help fill a gap and show what was written at the time.
Doug
Thanks for posting that!

Thanks!!!
It all makes sense now.
COJ should have 'waited on Jehovah' instead of 'running ahead' of satan's organization.
That little stunt got him disfellowshipped.
Thank you so much for the link.
My son has just finished reading The Gentile Times Reconsidered (he's not a JW). ThIs correspondence will show some history behind the book.
thanks doug, those letters were very interesting
Thanks Doug, very interesting! I just got Jonsson's latest book on "Gentile Times Reconsidered."

It would be interesting to see ALL the letters that the Watchtower sent COJ. In particular, the letters in which the Watchtower stopped expressing itself in a polite manner.
