Is this getting to be a habit right after the Announcements during TMS/SM nights?

I hope they start having to come up with a notebook full of the names of those who are no longer Jehovah's Witlesses very soon, and in every congregation. Ultimately, I hope 90% of the Service Meeting comes to announcing those who are gone.

both seeking reinstatement.
That's the saddest thing I've heard in a long time!
Where's that scripture about the dog returning to its vomit??

An inside source has informed me that there were two announcements of this sort on a recent meeting, bring the DFing/DAing count in my congregation to 11 or so within the last year, and as far as I know NONE of them are seeking reinstatement at this time. This is great news! The congregation is really crumbling.

They should be careful.
Jehovah choses who will be His witnesses.
"YOU are my witnesses," is the utterance of Jehovah, "even my servant whom I have chosen, ...", Isaiah 43:10

I can't wait for the time when someone bold enough would step next to the baptism pool at assemblies to announce:
"YYYY is no longer able to think independently! Congratulations, we have a new JW."

It would be music to my ears to hear the announcement at the beginning of the meeting, " This is to inform the congregations that everyone is no longer a Jehovah's Witness as the governing body and wt society has closed shop due to financial circumstances beyond our control. None of you will be held accountable to this organization any further as it is dissolved." I swear, I would go prostrate myself on the street and do snow angels somewhere. It's sure nice to dream! Peace out, Mr. Flipper

6 people I knew are DFd now. All seeking reinstatement.
Also, one inactive guy that moved 20 miles away from here. He's never going back. =D

Most people seek reinstatement because most people are disfellowshipped for either sex or drugs, not differences with the society. I would venture to guess that most are even repentant, but just repeat offenders which automatically means that you are unrepentant. Naturally, they think they're evil and immediately try to get back in "the truth." A lot of them either have no friends or have chosen really bad ones due to the naivety they had molded into them from childhood. Like kicks them around a few times, and they start thinking about how much better their life was in the organization. So after a while they right a letter, drink more Kool-Aid, and BAM, they're back in. They get the love bombing and an instant life. The sad thing is, most disfellowshipped people I think still believe witnesses have the truth, but feel unworthy of it somehow, so just resign themselves to thinking Jehovah will kill them one day.
