My goal after divorcing my husband of 16 yrs was education then to own my business. My family was torn between helping me and being jws. Got the education and now own a small work from home that helps homeowners with their mortgages. Agents earn commissions. If we work together, we could earn a good income. Most of my friends were jws so there could not be any contact, business or otherwise. I hope someone in this forum will have a need or know someone with a need and help me through word of mouth about my business. Given our long-time captivity to the concept of never growing old in this "system of things," we escapes are hit in the face with the brutal reality of working FOREVER in this "system of things"!
I have a home-based business, but my modest doings are a result of word-of-mouth promotion. Attempts to work smart, not hard, have been generally for naught in my circumstance.
