I received a request for a scan of the 1945 Charter of the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society as filed with the State of Pennsyvania. This is the current charter in effect for the WTBTS. (It replaced the earlier version which had been set up in Russell's day.)

This Charter says one of the purposes of the WT Society is to encourage the worship of Jesus! See, this article from jwfacts.com which quotes the charter on this and also explains the change of the Society's view:

I am going to add the scans to the article as I have been getting requests to verify the information.
Doing this article was one of those "lights on" moments for me. The Charter says the Watchtower Society promotes the "worship of Almighty God and Christ Jesus;"
However, when the Watchtower quotes the charter it changes the wording.
Watchtower 1971 December 15 p.760 " worship of Almighty God [through] Christ Jesus;”
Y earbook of 1969 p.50 “worship of Almighty God …;”
This shows the WTS is not interested in presenting truth, but manipulation of thought processes.
