She cooking a birthday dinner for him and his family. Shame on her! She'll miss TMS tonight!
She picks and chooses when and which rules she wants to follow. One week she seems to think birthdays are okay and the next she's flip-flopped and says she doesn't celebrate. Go figure.
She's confused. Do you blame her?

This is the future of the JW organization. Wishy-washy kids growing up to be wishy-washy adults, not motivated to pioneer or "reach out" for "privileges".
I suspect it will go with a whimper, not a bang.
Every once in a while the inner human of a JW-person emerges. You can get a glimpse of their humanity.
Then, because of the constant pounding of doctrine (called "inculcation" in WTS literature), they feel guilty and go back to putting on a good front for people and for the God they imagine they're serving.
I used to do the same things. She is torn between being a person and being a robot. We've all done it.
Obviously, at times she listens to her inner voice. Good for her!
