Got a call about 11AM, Debbie was headed to the emergency room. She'd slipped on some water while chasing the granddaughter in a park. Something had gone "pop" in her leg when she went down. She was in pain and thought she'd actually hurt herself. Turns out to be a broken fibula and a bunch of torn up soft tissue. She's in a temporary cast, doped up on pain meds and has an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon next week.
Needless to say, our plans for the weekend are shot.
Ouch! Pains shoot up my spine just reading that.

Ouch! Makes the stomach flu that I have right now not sound as bad.
I hope she will be okay and that she receives something for the pain.

I owe her big time. At best I can reduce the debt. I'm a recovering alcoholic, I ran up quite a bill in the spouse points category over the years.
