The first thing that came to mind when reding the title of this thread is one of those Awake! articles that tries to get young teens away from "self abuse" by doing something "with their hands."
"Many young brothers defeat this dirty and shameful habit by carving wooden boats. Perhaps you can discover a new talent, too!"
