I'm a believer that if you make a strong declaration, you're more likely to make it come true. For some people, the self-declaration comes in the form of a prayer to someone they believe or imagine is listening.

So prayers work if you "work in harmony with them". Yikes, that sounds so JW-ish.

he and Larissa Schuster entered her husband's house, knocked him out and drove him to Larissa Schuster's house. There, Fagone said, Larissa Schuster put her husband in a 55-gallon barrel and poured hydrochloric acid over him. It's unclear whether he was alive at the time.

    O....M....G....

That is just soooo disgusting and disturbing. What kind of a complete monster would be capable of doing such a thing?

This has been on the news here for a couple of years. They moved the venue because they didn't think she wouls get a fair trial. Don't think that;s going to be an issue. The stories about her paint her as a manipulative bitch, and she sucked the young kid Fagone into her plans to get rid of her husband and now he will spend the rest of his life in prison.

As Gopher said, prayers do work in some instances, like this one.

Damn, and I thought my divorce was bad.

As a Fundamentalist Roccoist, I pray to the Great Bird God, Rocco, regularly. I recently petitioned him to help me find the love of my life. He responded by bending over, lifting his wings slightly, and sticking his ass upward.

Prayers don't always turn out the way we'd like.

Jesus said "I and the father are one just as you and I are one"... Right? Well, I believe he's right, we all are God the same as Jesus was a God, in that we all are part of the eternal energy that composes everything. When we pray we pray to ourselves-we are Gods one an all
