CoCo I somehow doubt you have a humdrum existence, you seem to be eloquent and genuinly kind ,I find it difficult to accept you would be otherwise in RL . Being predisposed to caring and helping others myself ,I feel a similarity of intent in your posts.
Learning from others and sharing yourself with them makes everyday new and wonderful no matter what actually happens.

So good of you to respond - thank you. I know Roger, Changeling, and have seen him jolly, but when did he become a lollipop? And my existence isn't really humdrum at all, BV. I just love that line from "Singing in the Rain" where June Hagen declares how she is pleased to bring joy into the humdrum lives of her public. In reality, it's great how we can help one another here at JWD, and you're right - our intent does show through ...
