Wasn't Albert Schroeder married to Gertrud Schroeder, a death camp victim who survived? HE WENT TO A CAMP TOO.

Gertruds story is told in a Witchtower from the 80s. (sign of healing - I cant be bothered hunting it down.)

If I am correct, then I want to know how they got enough money after the war to keep a yaught in the Virgin Islands and pay for the fancy weddings of their kids.

(Not that I think giving your children the fanciest wedding is wrong.)

Bet he didn't pay for his son's LAW DEGREE.

I don't know, but surly you're not insinuating his money came from the WTBTS, are you?

Maybe he was a friend of the WT Treasurer, Grant Suiter?

PS His wife's family was quite wealthy, maybe that helped with the wedding anyway.

For the record, Albert Schroeder was married to Charlotte Bowen.

The Gertrude you are thinking of was Poetzinger, married to Martin Poetsinger.

My spelling may be a little off on the surnames.

Those monsters have the power to usurp money for themselves. Once you reach the Governing Body level, and especially if you are corrupt like Schroeder is, you have all your expenses paid for by the Watchtower Society (unlike everyone else). There is a damn good chance that he embezzled this money. Or, he could have used the Worldwide Pedophile Defense Fund money to train his son as a lawyer that would fight in behalf of the Watchtower Society.
