The good news is that China and India, the most populous countries, currently have few Witlesses. Bangladesh also has virtually none.
There is some potential trouble here. The USA and Japan both have quite a high population of Witlesses (more than one Witless per 1,000 population). At least in those countries, the numbers are past peak and stagnant with a growing bias to the downside. Nigeria, on the other hand, has more studies per 100 Witlesses (and more than 200,000 Witlesses) than any other country with a sizable population or with more than 50,000 Witlesses.
Russia had its phenomenal growth in the Witless land in the 1990s. I hope they start heading south, too. Brazil (and Mexico, and the USA) all have far too many Witlesses. In the US, at least it is stagnant. Brazil seems to be slowing down a touch, but we will have to wait until someone can post the 2007 stats to confirm this. For sure, I would like to see all these countries (Nigeria included) showing huge negative growth.
