There is apparently a "Bethal Dedication" tomorrow which my sister and her hubby (bethalites) as well as my Mom and Dad are going to. Just curious as to what this all may be about as that Bethal has been around for yonks. I don't want to ask the family as it pains me to discuss anything JW related with them. I did hear something along the lines of the invitees had to have been in service for 40 years or something?
Any ideas?
My best guess is that the Bethel branch in your country may have had a significant remodel or addition made to it, and the new features have to be "dedicated" to the Governing Bodythe Printing Corporation Jehovah.
It will likely consist of several hours Bethel bigshot blowhards pattting themselves on their backs for all the hard work they put in over the past X months on the project.

Just another dedication in your particular area as been said by another poster of a remodel or build and it gets dedicated to the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society. They add it to their ever growing real estate properties. In other words just another boring meeting, dedicated to the $$$ worth of the society.
