My son wants "Guitar Hero" for Christmas. We bought him a real guitar last year. He's never learned to play. I dust it occasionally.

My daughter and I are addicted to that game. We have it on the Nintendo Wii. Too bad you cannot buy a second guitar without the game yet, because we would love to "battle". My daughter is eleven years old, btw.
We are on Medium, and cannot imagine expert! Its a fun game tho, especially if you like rock music.

My son can play it on expert. Impresses all the clerks at Wal-Mart when he plays it on the demo machine.
I bought this for him, and then I bought him a real Squier Strat with amp.
He and his brother are now trying to learn guitar for real. They seem determined to do it. They have the musical talent (both are in band at school). I hope they stick with it!
In the eyes of "chicks" knowing how to play a guitar is way cooler than playing a video game.....

Meh, I thought learning to play guitar would get me chicks, it didn't. Guitar players were a dime a dozen when I was a kid. If you play guitar but still have a bad personality that just makes you a jerk with a guitar, not a chick magnet.
