I see recurring references in various posts. What is it and what has it to do with the WTS?

I'm in the process of researching the activities and background of a French NGO called AIDAFRIQUE. This NGO has provided humanitarian assistance in various African countries and Vietnam through a subsidiary NGO called AIDAFRIQUE AU VIET NAM. AIDAFRIQUE has previously assisted and been assisted by UNHCR, but is not a UNHCR Partner.
I would appreciate it if anyone with "any knowledge" of this NGO would provide such to me. I am particularly interested in knowing whether it is an approved NGO Partner of any UN department.
Thanks.

"Any day spent NOT knocking on doors is a good day!"
I ran across this charity name today and used our new handy dandy search feature to see if it had been mentioned here.
I was amazed to see the watchtower DOES have a real charity?
anyone have any more info on this? why was it created? was it because of frances decision to tax the jw's?
is it still an active charity? if it is, it "was" or "is" an NGO so that would mean the watchtower still has active ties to the un.
bttt
anyone know anything about this?
