Did you know that 16 Bean soup has 19 types of beans?

    I had no idea until today when I actually made 16 Bean soup!

    Turns out that the soup contains 16 of each of the 19 types of bean. They are all literally counted out!

    Don't worry, I didn't count out 304 beans... I just bought a package with all of the dry beans ready inside.

    Have you ever discovered something odd like that???

    I learned that when canned goods go bad, and the ends of the can get all pushed out and round, that it's because of the bacteria inside the can. What is causing all of that pressure from the inside of the can, yep, bacteria farts. (or, at least the gases anaerobes give off during metabolism).

    Ok, if you take the amtrack from Cleveland to Detroit, when the train gets to Toledo it drives backward the rest of the way into Detroit.
