I'm an obnoxious Florida Gator fan. Me and a few of the brothers from Jacksonville used to drive to Gainesville for the games. Amazing we made it back alive some Saturdays.

I'm a New Yorker, but you can't find a bigger Gators fan. With the recent fall of just about every undefeated team (that counts) we're back in the Rose Bowl hunt. GO GATORS!!!!!!

Go therefore and baptize the people in the name of the father and of the son... what the hell, we just need to bring up the yearbook numbers!

Well,

I never have been a big FSU hater. I like Bobby Bowdoin and he gets a lot of his players from Valdosta, Ga where I grew up loving football.

I also root for Georgia except when they are playing Florida.

My two most hated teams as a Gator are scUM, I hate the Canes and Auburn. I have yet to meet an Auburn fan that I could like.

Woohoo, Joel! I knew I liked you, dude! I LOVE the gators! Do you remember Mr. Two Bits? He's still a fixture in the Swamp. My son loves to go to the games altho my daughter thinks they're quite boring. Ahhh, but what fun to be at Florida Field on a crisp autumn day...cheering my gators on to victory..singing "We are the boys from old Florida..." (I even forgive them their sexism!)

I had season tickets for 4 years with my best bud John (sigh). We were on the home side of the field right at the endzone line about 20 rows up. Hell, I was happy to have tickets.

First down, Florida.

Yeah, I remember Mr. Two Bits. He is a really nice guy.

Don't you just hate UM. I spit on them, feh.

I loved going to the games. My favorite Florida Game EVER was a defeat of Auburn in the Swamp in I think 1985 or 86. What a freaking great game that was.

joelbear - Gators are no doubt good this year, but nobody is better that UM!!!! Go canes Go! I have been a loyal fan of UM since I was in elementary school. I grew up going to Hurricane games and even cheered at a couple games as a high school cheerleader since my high school is about a mile from UM and we had a relationship with their football coach. Now, I teach part time at the law school!

bigboi - as for FSU!!! Keep dreaming! FSU has lost any hope of making it again this year. Not only did I watch every second of the game that Miami beat FSU - But, I also went to college at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and am a die hard Carolina fan, so I watched the Heels spank the Noles!

I like UM but have to hate the 'noles...."friends don't let friends be 'noles"...(picture a fried egg on a sidewalk: "What is this?" "This is your brain at FSU"

Best game I was ever at was when we beat Kentucky (I think!) to go to the Sugar Bowl...man, it was great. We'd been on probation for the years prior and hadn't been able to win the SEC championship...victory was suh-weeeeeeet!!! (Early 90's this musta been) No one left the stadium..we sang "We Are the Champions" and littered the field with little packets of sugar...it totally rocked!
