I am just so, so annoyed & sad about this shitty, creepy religion. I really feel for all these needless victims of abuse. The more I learn of how these things have happened & all the cover ups, the more I get sad that my dear wife & kids are so blinded by an evil cult that they call 'the truth'. The sacrifices & hardships they put themselves through, and for what? A negligent, self-serving, evil money making corporation. They just will not listen to or take seriously these accusations. God, they are sooooo blinded. Help! Will they EVER wake up?

I would have thoght they'd wake up after learning about

1) Beth Sarim

2) False predictions

3) Being told to question men is the same as questioning God, after all, you are questioning "gods channell" of communication.

4) Changed dogma/new light.

and so on and so on ad infinium... will they ever wake up? I don't know but never lose hope.

I'm new to this site and sorry for you wife and kids. I got DF years ago and have'nt thought about JW since, but after reading through this site I'm glad w/ the choice I made.

I like your description of "creepy religion". That really is true. All you have to do is listen

to the comments during the Watchtower study, or see the happiness in their eyes and

faces when they talk about God bringing an end to this old system which means that

the God of love will murder 99.9% of the worlds population.

The problem is that they are programmed not to wake up. No matter what appears in the news, they were told not to take it seriously if it was critical of the religion. So, they are going to go on, business as usual. Little do they know that the householders are now going to be pesecuting them even worse, including calling them all pedophiles first and asking questions later. For sure, I would be extremely embarrassed to be out in field circus this week.

Just think what those who are pioneering for December are going to have to go through. Not only are they going to see all those pretty Christmas trees up and miss out, but they are going to get extra persecution. Better to be apostate and displaying as many Christmas lights as my apartment will hold than spend even one yoctosecond out in field circus this month.

But if it's positive, or slightly positive ( like Knocking), use it to confirm to yourself and potential "disciples" that "hey, even Satan's world admits we're the only true religion."
