Here is some fodder for the all the people who like to predict the end of the world. I hold no stance on this issue but thought some fuel for dissent would be welcome , I'm going to the kitchen to get some popcorn

That was really interesting, thanks! I seriously doubt that our solar system will be making any movements within the galactic disk over the course of a single day, as the author seems to suggest. But he brought up some things I'd never thought about before. Worth reading!
