Have any of you watched his movies or plays? I love them and could watch them everyday. He is so grounded. His message reaches across racial and class boundaries to reach people. He is inspirational to me.
I've watch Family Reunion and Diary of a Mad Black Woman about 20 times each. I've rented several of his plays. They are awesome. They have healing power. If you've never heard of him, check him out.
I absolutely love his plays. I haven't really gotten into the knew show on TBS though. His movies are very enjoyable. When I was going through a bout of depression I watched the plays all the time. It's a guaranteed good laugh for me when I watch them.

Like the part in "Diary of a Mad Black Woman" where she cut the couch in half with the chain saw ... lol!
My oldest daughter has all his movies. The grandkids love them.

He has a new book out called "Don't Make a Black Woman Take Off Her Earrings" I've GOT to read that one.
Love his movies, haven't really gotten into the TV show. Hubby says he really is nice in person. Means alot if hubby says that.
