McKenna says overheating of a ceiling canister light probably started the blaze.
Members say more than 500 volunteers erected the structure's walls and roof in about three days in 2002. They plan to look for a temporary location for meetings until the church can be rebuilt.
"The accidental fire is believed to have been caused by the overheating of a ceiling canister light, said Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal Patrick McKenna. He said insulation was packed directly around the light without any room for air circulation."
No wonder they can throw one of these things up in less than a week.
