Banned From Pro-Jehovah's Witness Group

In 2003 or thereabouts I joined a jwnews group through an invitation on this forum from its founder, Mr. Agelos Fiskilis. Some of you might recall it.

Most of the time I only read people's comments and only occasionally post. Recently, someone recognized me from some other forum, as an "apostate." A moderator promptly banned me. What is most amusing, is that I never hid my identity, not even from Mr. Fiskilis.

Now, I ask, if Mr. Fiskilis could visit an apostate site and not be banned, plus invite us to his jwnews forum, why does someone in his group ban me for being an apostate? Would the Watch Tower approve of their site anymore than jwnews do of me?

    Double standards.

    It's all they know.

I read the comment about "happy people" on that web page. My jw bud is anything, but happy. Happy, like the fun people at your local loony bin.

The first reaction I had what that discrimination really stinks. I never fully realized how similar racial and all the other discriminations are to apostate discrimination. It's all bad.

I have heard of the Watchtower Society itself doing that, but most of those forums shouldn't really give a damn what you do on other forums as long as you are not slandering those other forums on a public page. Of course, the administrators could be trying to emulate the Watchtower Society. If they do that enough, pretty soon there won't be any posters there and they will end up stagnant.

Usually, you get banned for breaking the rules on that forum. I haven't, before this, heard of any forum that bans people for breaking its rules on other forums or visits forums that support the opposing viewpoint. I wonder if that group is going to see itself folding. Notably, after the Sept 2007 Kingdumb Misery, I am surprised that such groups are still active.
