while out for my usual liquid lunch, a cup of new englands finest pee week coffee and a pack of grape bubble yumm....

    a thought accured to me.

    i'm a die hard avid x-files fan.

    i can relate to mulder.
i can definately relate to that busty red head partner of his, scully.

    my thought was this....

in the last 10 months of digging into wt stuff and opening my eyes to the wretched viel of hypocrisy i've been lead by all my life....

am i really that much different than mulder? seeking "truth", looking for the hidden agendas, and conspiricys?

    somehow....it all makes sence...

the truth is out there mulder.
    trust no one.

    your thoughts? are welcome.

    Zev,

I LOVE X-files! I've been an avid fan for about 5 or 6 years. I have many video's of the series and of course the movie too. I DO see a likeness of Mulder and me--searching for the 'truth', or searching for A truth. Truth seems to be very well hidden by those behind the scenes. And every time I think I'm close and perhaps find a bit of truth, someone moves it. You know the analogy about trying to hit a moving target. Everything I used to believe in has changed, or is it just my vantage point that's changed while everything else has remained the same. Sure looks different from the outside looking in.

Add my name to the avid XFiles fans!

I like Mulder's character...and Scully was a good foil for him...he would believe anything and she questioned everything. Love it.

I've enjoyed many X-files episodes - generally the more far out they were, the more I liked them - and I loved the funny ones with Charles Nelson Reilly. I had high hope for "Millennium" when it came out, but it got weak. I wanted something more "Silence of the Lambs" meets "The Illuminati" with a dash of Lovecraft - something more like Mr. Natas' neighborhood, I suppose.

Is the truth "out there"? I think it is, but I think it isn't what most folks would like for it to be.

"Trust no one" - that includes myself, right?

Anyone here read Michael Slade? (Headhunter, Ghoul, Cutthroat, etc) It's comforting, isn't it?

I am an X-Files fanatic! I tape all the shows. Bought the movie. I have books of codes and little known facts. I'm in love with Mulder and Sculley, AND Skinner!!!
I, too, feel like a truth seeker. And believe it's out there, if we can just look long enough to find it. I also loved Millennium. Frank Black was my hero. I taped all the shows. And cried when it was canceled. True, it could have been more Illuminati/Lovecraft, but was good at what it did.
I never watch sit-coms, hate soap-operas. Game shows suck. Except Jeopardy. I watch Outer Limits, CSI (I learn things from this one).
Roswell. Anything that makes me think, learn, and wonder......

I am generally not a fan of TV series generally. Except British TV series (generally), the acting and technical quality is almost always crap. I particularly detest x-files, though.

Lol! Add me to that list of avid X-Philes---have been since season one. Got every episode on tape and have seen each several-to-a-dozen times. Even visited location shoots during filming of FtF around So Cal. "The Truth Is Out There and "I Want to Believe" both always struck me as to how ironically it reflected my JW existence as well as Mulder's search.

Perhaps Brooklyn has some hardcore devotees as well: "Trust No One," "Deny Everything," "Believe the Lie."
