    I found this speech he gave back in 1999. In it is his perspective on the school shootings, and the things that lead up to this.

    I think its something that educators and parents need to read and ponder.

    I have read almost all of Mr Kings books (except the Tower series) and I find him brilliant and funny. Just when you think he has gone as far as human thought would go, he revs up and does a triple play. I don't know what it is but scary stuff is funny to me.

    Thank you for posting he comments because it really shows that he is aware, brilliant, funny, and responsible.

    Very interesting. So, they basically start out w poor communication skills, get teased and hazed, and are basically alienated from their parents. The parents themselves also generally, have a hard time communicating.

    Steve's books are about his own school memories. Perhaps they were a form of therapy for him.

    I took particular note of his speech from this point. It's something I've observed myself.
