As TD pointed out the other day, it's Clayton, in lieu of Colin.

Just remember the bassist from U2.

According to Woodsworth himself, he got messages from the spirit realm.

Then he'd have really bad headaches.

I get really bad headaches when I read what he wrote.

I suspect the originals were into heavy drug use. Cocaine, heroin, opium were not outlawed when CT Russell and co horts began to "discern" things.

Rutherford called him a jackass for publishing the calendar articles, to which he agreed.

That makes me think of something.

Rutherford and Woodworth really loved typological interpretations of the Bible.

Balaam was a shady, sinful man who nevertheless was chosen by God to give prophecy.

Rutherford was a shady, sinful man who believed he was chosen to lead God's "prophet" organization.

Balaam had his jackass with him, which was supposed to serve and offer assistance to Balaam.

Rutherford had Woodworth with him, who was there supposedly to help Rutherford in his work.

But Balaam's jackass became an obstacle to him, and prevented him from continuing his journey efficiently.

Woodworth became in Rutherford's eyes a hindrance to his work, wasting time and causing new problems.

Balaam cursed at the jackass out of anger.

Rutherford cursed at Woodworth out of anger.

It all fits. Woodworth is the modern-day antitype of Balaam's ass.

Woodworth missed the boat on this one, by denying that Rutherford abused him in the Moyle trial. He should have just said that it all happened to fulfill Bible prophecy.

Woodworth allowed all the "freak" doctors and scientists to publish in the Golden Age...he was very well read when it came to crack pot, no evidence required, stupid science.
