Now that our two yr old grandaughter is spending more time here I am seeing quite a bit of childrens programs, cartoons, etc. I must say I am impressed with the quality of most of it. Seems like when our kids were small it was mostly crash, bam, boom.

Those that come to mind are Bob the Builder, Dora the Explorer, Between the Lions. Of course, she has her own copies of Cinderella, Jungle Book, Winnie the Poo and Nemo (I am sure I have seen Nemo at least 5 times) which she watches. She knows how to put the DVD into the machine. Maybe posters with kids could think of some of the better ones.

I love Nemo. It must be fun to have a little one around again. You know how little kids have imaginary friends? When DD was 3, she had a whole crew -- all the animal characters from Winnie the Pooh. Every time we went somewhere in the car, I had to buckle them all into their imaginary seatbelts. When we went out to eat, I had to be sure to get them imaginary food.
