I don't know if this is happening in other places, but here is a great example how can Christian Churches co-exist under the same roof.

This Church is 900 years old. And stands at a place were a Basilica(an architectual term for the Byzantine early Churches was build in 340 A.D. The oldest relic of the Early Church in the Island. Unfortunately it was destroyed by an earthquake. Apostle Paul also preached here. Near by there are catacombs, and other early Christian monuments, since the first Bishop of the Island was Apostle Barnabas.

The Eucharist of the Orthodox Church starts at 6.30 Sunday(Kyriaki for Greek that means - Lord's Day) morning and finishes by 9.30 with the communion. Then the Catholic Church use it, and final the Agglican.

Indeed no matter differences we might have as the basic Christian dominations. Orthodox-Catholic-Agglican, still we can share the same Church. Shall we invite WT to do it so?

    Interesting!

I believe that some of the Christian holy sites in Israel are administered in a similar fashion.

    Here's for ecumenicalism!

    Cool!

The RC church I attended as a child used to have a service in the local Methodist church - it was a bit weird because the place didn't have any of the familiar surroundings you'd associate with a Catholic church.

    JH,

Thank you for the interesting post.....

I am in a wierd spot: My respect for the Romans has grown from pure hate to a distant understanding.

I consider myself Anglican, however, I KNOW the Orthodox theology concerning the message of salvation in and around Jesus and the means and methods by which the Father brings us into communion with Him through Christ and in co-operation with the Holy Spirit is purely correct. The Orthodox represent the most pure stream of water flowing from Apostolic Times. I wish the Orthodox message was more visible so it could be considered more closely by Christians not in association with them. My wife's uncle is Antiochian Orthodox.

I hope things are "stable" with you and yours. I keep you in prayer in the prayer that ends my day. Take care and be encouraged!!

    Yours in this eternal Journey,

    V

Thanks Vernon...you are right about the Orthodox Church. It took me time to end here. But for a Christian Orthodox is all about Jesus. How we can have Jesus inside us. Trought Communion and prayer. The Church encourage each one of us the take Jesus in our life. To be with Him, and follow Him. Jesus is there. And we are urged to go near Him. That is why the Church does not stand in front of you and Jesus. It is something that we didn't have as JW's.

How wonderful that these three groups who believe almost exactly the same thing can, in this isolated instance, deal amicably with one another!
