Because it's a bit meaningless isn't it? You know same old prayer over and over again doesn't really mean much.

JW's are really down on repetitive prayers. Each and every prayer is supposed to be original and from the heart. Also, they do their outreach work through their proselytizing.

I think BB is referring to those deals where I find out about a member that's sick, so I call you, and you call mary, and she calls tom, and so on, so everybody finds out about it and prays for whoever is sick. My mom's church has something like that.
The Bible encourages praying for one another -- which is one of the things that made me lose my faith, actually -- so it does seem odd that JW's don't do it.
The best answer I have is built into your question. They don't do it because the other churches do.

They sure are.
But instead of common prayer lines, like some churches, the JWs got individual prayer lines.
I can recall many brothers doing almost the same prayer over and over. Not the same as the other brothers, but they tend to stick to the same lines everytime.
Don't they?
Not very much meaning in that either

Which puts them on a river someplace in Egypt.

How about a 1-800-xxx-xxxx line, but then they'd have to have a Television show wouldn't we?
Tell me,"Would Jesus have worn a ROLEX on his television SHOW"?
