AK Jeff gave me an idea. I want to throw a NYE party at my home.
What are the rules; time, attire, grownups, kids. I would like to have an adults kind of dressy party.
Any suggestions?
Oh, yeah if you live close enough, you're invited.

Sure wish I could go. Costume party might be fun.

Indiana's not too far...
What kind of costumes? Like a theme?

I once went to a costume party where everyone dressed as a sin or vice. I was vanity, my best friend was lust, my boyfriend was drug abuse.
oohh, I bet that turned out cool. That's a fun idea for NYE especially.

Greed would be fun!
I always serve cheese fondue for NYE.
Mulled wine in the crockpot. A few different types of salads. And all kinds of stuff to dip in that scrumptious cheese...bread, veggies, fruits, etc...
You can make it dressy or casual...whatever your little heart desires.
Then at midnight...pop the cork, and...Happy New Year!!! Kiss, kiss...hug, hug:-)
Always a fun evening...
Good luck to you...whatever your NYE plans may be:-)

We usually have a hot tub party - nothing like sitting in the hot tub, drinking, in -20C weather, first we play road hockey (it's a Canadian thang) and have a big pot luck spread.
This year we are celebrating in Niagara Falls, Ontario, everyone is invited!

Pinatas and Ouija Boards are always nice!
You know open mind, you may have something. Fortune teller, tarot cards theme. No ouiji board, though. They freak me out.
